MADE: Moms and Dads for Education to Stop Teen Dating Abuse
Girls Inc. of Santa Fe has become a member of MADE: Moms and Dads for Education to Stop Teen Dating Abuse. MADE is a national coalition of parents, teachers and concerned citizens who are advocates for ensuring that every middle school and high school in the country is teaching a curriculum on preventing dating relationship violence and abuse.MADE is aiming to ensure that every child in the country has the education and resources available to maintain healthy relationships, free from abuse and violence.

By building a national coalition of dedicated members, MADE seeks to guarantee that every middle and high school in the country has a curriculum that addresses teen dating violence so our children can learn the path to positive, healthy relationships.

No Child Left Inside Coalition
Girls Inc. of Santa Fe is proudly participating in the initiative, No Child left Inside. Healthier kids means a healthier world. No Child Left Inside is a natural fit with our Sporting Chance and EnCourage programs, as well as our Mind + Body Initiative. Support Girls Inc. with One Click a Day
Girls Inc. of Santa Fe was one of 10 organizations chosen to participate in a funding project by Mountain Hardwear, Send a Kid to Camp.For every visitor to their website each day they will donate $1 (up to $35,000 total) to be shared among the 10 chosen organizations. Each person (or rather, each computer) gets 1 click per day! Bookmark their page and make a point to click each day! And, share this with your friends. The more the merrier! We have until April 15 to raise the $35,000 total! This could mean a gift of $3,500 to Girls Inc. of Santa Fe to support our Sporting Chance and EnCourage (teen outdoor adventure) programs.

Girls Inc. of Santa Fe wins 2008 Pinon Award from the Santa Fe Community Foundation
Last year Girls Inc. was one of 5 local non-profits to receive the honored Pinon Award from the Santa Fe Community Foundation. Girls Inc. received the prized Manuel Luján Sr. Award for Education.
