Adrienne Alexis Murray began working as Chief Storyteller for Girls Inc. of Santa Fe in 2023 — a role that feels deeply aligned with who she is and the work she believes in. Born and raised by a village in Los Angeles, Adrienne moved to New Mexico in 2018 and has spent the past several years falling in love with its people, landscape, traditions, and the kind of beauty that quietly changes you. At Girls Inc. of Santa Fe, she leads the work of uplifting the stories and voices of the youth the organization serves, making sure their ideas, joy, leadership, and lived experiences are seen with the care and respect they deserve.

Adrienne is a proud alumna of the 2022 cohort of Leadership Santa Fe and the 2020 cohort of the New Mexico Women of Color Nonprofit Leadership Initiative. Her professional path has included work with the International Folk Art Market, Resilient New Mexico, and other Santa Fe institutions, where she has built experience in storytelling, communications, community engagement, public relations, and nonprofit strategy. Across her work, Adrienne is drawn to the places where story, connection, and opportunity meet. She is especially passionate about mentorship, creating pathways for young women of color, and building beloved community through honest stories and meaningful relationships.

Outside of work, Adrienne finds joy in baking, traveling, art, crafting, reading, pottery, and exploring New Mexico with her partner, Elias; their daughter, Aurora; their dogs, Watson and Scout; and their two cats, Luna and Zenon.
